Thats Amore mom's day

Thank you to everyone who stopped by while enjoying the CTMH Blog Hop today. It was alot of fun to see all the wonderful creations that the CTMH consultants had on their blogs.
I decided to make a few mother's day cards this evening and the Thats Amore paper is a really nice paper, the first one is made using blush and one of the designs from Cricuts new cart. Lyrical Letters. I placed little pearls in the center of the flowers.

thi second one uses the lyrical letters cart also, it is a very simple card but I liked it. used a very small pearl for the birds eye.

The next 3 use the B&T papers from the Thats Amore papers, I used blush and chocolate cardstock. The Happy Mothers Day is stamped in blush.

I cut the butterflies with the cricut for this last one.

Got a few things done today

I was able to get some cards done today, I pulled out my Cricut and Carts and started workin, the first card I made for Greg at work, he wanted something different for his MIL, so this is what I came up with, I really hope he is going to like it, and that is a bowl of veggies on her head. I posted 2 pictures because I wanted to show that her arm moves up and down, she is suppose to be kinda like a large sign, it is one of those things that she will understand. The bowl on her head is made from the bottom of a sail boat, I just cut off the sails.

Veggie girl.

just a couple of things

So I have a few things that I have gotton done lately, I ended up needed about 8 more of the A.P. cards for today so I used the May SOTM again, but used a different lady and Sorbet Ink (Z2164) instead of the pink. I am really enjoying this stamp set.

This next card I made for Shaun, I used the Stardust level 2 papers (X7109B) and I cut out some of the stars from the paper and used pop dots and Embroidery Floss (Z1096) to tie them together on the card. Sorry the picture is a little blurry.

These last items are the book marks I made for the JG bags at work, we give a bag to the parents of some of the kids and it has different things in it and this is something I make for them, the last ones I made are on my CTMH website in the art section www.Rebeccat.myctmh.com.
I decided to use different colors this time. Hope you like them.

Comments are always welcome

women's heart health

I don't have pictures today just a little note to women everywhere, please listen to your body when it talks to you. I had some chest discomfort that I wanted to blame on heart burn, ended up spending the nite at our local hospital when it got worse, they never said I had a heart attack but the testing for heart problems started right after and so did the meds that I didn't want. On friday I had a cardic cath, this was after having a nucler stress/echo test. The echo showed what looked to be a blockage, I had my cath and they found no blockages, I am so relieved, I am only in my 40's. I still don't know what caused all the chest pain in the first place but I am glad I listened and went to get it checked out. So because of the cath I can't stay sitting very long for the first 48hrs, so I will have more cards done in a few days.

I went next to richmond yesterday and met up with Dawn, on the way I stopped by to see EJ and she had this new Inkadinkado stamp set that had a dragonfly on it well I love dragonflies and this one was something, so when I met Dawn at Memories Galore I had to see if they had this set and they did, plus they had the Liquid Pearls I had been wanting, so I got one of every color of LP's that they had. So this is the first card I made with this stamp, I embossed the dragonfly on vellum then colored the back with copic markers, (I only have a couple of these markers).

New cards

This little guy is from the Racoon & friends set from CTMH, inks used are Bamboo and ponderosa pine, the cs is ponderosa pine and white daisy, he is just a fun little guy.

This next card I got the idea from Kelley over on the Cricut message board, I needed a card for a communion and I wanted something all white, I saw this card a while back, I changed a few things from hers, but the idea is the same, i used the butterfly from Tinkerbell cart and the word faith is from the alpha. cart, the little pearls I picked up somewhere, I used CTMH liquid glass to glue the butterfly down, white daisy cs, used stickles on the word faith just to give it a little shine, I hope that the person I made this for is going to like it.

Hope you like these cards, please feel free to post comments anytime.

I didn't get things done on as early as I wanted to yesterday so I had to wait till today to post a few of the race pictures. We had alot of fun at the race.

there are more pictures than what I have posted here, I am going to a crop on Saturday so hopefully I will get all of these scrapbooked plus some others. I will post them when I get them done.

There were alot of people here on Sunday.

This little number 7 kept havin a few problems but he would go in fix it and come right on back out to the track.
Jimmy Johson won this race, had to get pictures of the spin out.

You can barely see him for the smoke.
