I also wanted to share  few pictures from November 17ths Christmas card workshop, we used the Pear & Partridge WOTG kit and made 15 cards.  This was Angela's first time at a  ws and she did a wonderful job with her cards. The first picture is Anglea and Shaun, Anglea is getting the hang of second generation stamping. We also did some embossing on the cards.

              This next piture Tiffany and Shaun, they are pros now.  Shaun as always is changing his up a bit.

Halloween Daybook fun

This is a little daybook that I put together for Tiffany's daughter Kayleigh. I thought Tiffany would enjoy filling it with halloween pictures and different things for the month of October.  When Tiffany came down for world cardmaking day she brought alot of different papers with her, so I used some of those to make this daybook.  Hope you like.

World Card Making Day

Yesterday was World Card Making Day, and I spent the day with Tiffany and Shaun working on some Halloween cards so I thought I would share them with you. The card with the mummy on it is our versions of  a card done by Leanne over on the CTMH eye candy board on FB, I just loved it and it was great use of the Tim Holtz brick wall embossing folder, we all made little changes to it so that it was ours, and not exactly  like Leanne's,  I am not sure why my pictures are a little blurred, my hands must have been shaking a little and I didn't realize it.

These first set of items are mine

 This set was created by Shaun, he added some green and autumn terracotta to his wall to give it a mossy, dirty look, came out great, he also decided to draw his cat's face on and used his wiggly eyes in the word halloween, gave his bat some fangs.

This next and final set belong to Tiffany, she had this cute little bat that she added to her coffin, we had alot of fun working on all of these fun crafts.

1st Daybook & video

I decided to try to make my first video today, I made a daybook using papers from the DCWV paper pk called the Garden tea party stack, I have had these papers for awhile and since I am new to making daybooks I did not want to use up all of CTMH papers until I could get this right, well I liked how  this one came out so I wanted to share it and try video's at the same time. Hope you like. I was very nervous.

Adding Color to Your Crafts

Mutli-frame dry erase, chalk board

While roaming though blogs and other  idea pages, I happen to catch a glance at a picture, (and I am so sorry I don't remember who or where I saw this)  where the person a taken a multi frame and created a dry erase/chalk board out of it and I thought this was really cool, I happen to have one of these picture frames that my sister-in-law had given me for christmas one yr and I had yet to use it, well I pulled it out,  the Dreamin' paper pk and the new CTMH chalkboard paper, and worked on this most of the day today, well I had to stop and empty the washer and dryer a couple of times. I also used the new CTMH chalk marker, I cut my chalkboard paper at 4 x 6,  it is adhesive-backed so I put it directly on the front of the glass so that I could write and erase on it.  I used both of the CTMH cricut cartridges, letters are cut at 3/4", dragonflies are cut at 1 1/2" and 2", butterfly is cut at 2", the roses flowers were cut at 2". I hope you like it.

New Artiste jigsaw cards

Good Saturday afternoon, hope everyone is having a nice weekend, so wanted to show you a quick card I did last nite,  the Artiste cartridge has a couple of jigsaw puzzles on it and I just loved the heart, well over on FB last nite I saw where Laura has used 2 different papers from the new Avolea kit to make her a couple of cards well, I loved that idea and had to pull out the new Dakota papers and make mine. You get 2 cards when you cut the hearts out in 2 different papers, the puzzle pieces are put on with bonding memories glue but on the first card the pieces that have the design are put on using 3D foam tape, and on the second card the barn red pieces are put on with the foam tape.  I love how they came out. Hope you like them.

CTMH Artiste Cartridge

So I spent yesterday and this morning playing with the New Artiste Cartridge and I have to say CTMH has done it again, I love this cartridge. Yesterday I pulled out some old cardstock and just cut the 3D shapes to see how they would turn out and also to see the biggest sizes I could cut, tody I used it to make cards and a little card holder, it was so much fun, and also the Artiste collection comes with the 3 stamps sets so I had to play with thse too.    All three cards were made using the Clementine paper pack and the new colors of cs. Hope you like them. I will list all products at the end.
                                               This first one uses the cut from pg 35 and it's accent 1

This next one is gift card holder, love it now done in one quick cut,  it is pg 53 cut at 5"

This is the inside.

not sure why this turned out blurry, sorry,  the flower is cut from pg 55 and is cut at 2.50" it has a little blackstone in the center, the accents on each side are cut at 1.50" and are on pg 43, love this card because it has a surprise inside. I also sprayed the flower with a mixture of pearl paint and alcohol, the alcohol dries faster than water.

This next item is a little magazine holder, it is on pg 47 and cut at 6" and is the cutest little thing.

After I finished putting it together I placed all the cards I made today in it, it is a wonderful card holder and would make a great gift, fill it with cards and wrap it up.

Nurse's wk and Teacher's Appreciation wk

Hello everyone, this week I have made these cute little pin cushion's. I made these for the nurse's at the clinic that I work at for nurse's week, I used the little mason jars,  filled them with buttons of all sizes and shapes, the cushion part was made using fabic and some ploy-fil, there was no sewing involved, I used the glue gun to hold it together. Hope you like these.

Owl steampunk meets art journal

I had painted these pages awhile back but wasn't sure what I  was  going to do with them until I saw the Owl Steampunk image that Colleen at CMS had drawn and I knew he was going on this page.  I pulled out my Prismacolor coloring pencils and had fun. I am not listing the colors I did on the pages because I cannot not remember them all, alot of brown, creams, tans, a couple of stencils.
