a little scrapbooking

I decided to do a little simple scrapbooking this afternoon. If you click on the picture it makes it bigger so you can get a better look if you want. The first layout is my loving husband gettin his first tattoo. It took him a long time to decide if he wanted one then it took him a year to find an eagle picture that he liked to put on his back. All papers are Close to My Heart, they are from the Game on paper pk, and I used my Cricut for the letters.

The second 2 pg layout is of my tree swallows that decided to move into the purple martin house, I have never seen any martins around it so I was right tickled when these guys moved in, I really enjoy watching them, I have 2 bluebird houses and they are enjoyment too. These papers are some I picked up from Forever more scrapbook store in Gettysburg Pa. I have been there twice. I used CTMH chocolate paper for the lettering.

This layout is also from some of the papers I got while in Gettysburg, I looked out the window to see this little guy sittin on the limb had to grab the camera, he never moved just to his head a little to look at me. These papers were so pretty they didn't need alot of embellsment. I used the Ponderosa Pine ink and the Chocolate alphabet from CTMH for the statement.

Thanks for stopping by.

flower garden

So I am posting this little card by itself this morning, I worked on it for awhile last night and really liked it, it looks so much better in person. I used CTMH's white daisy cardstock and CTMH's watercolor pencils, I used my Cricut to cut everything in white then while all the pieces were still on my mat I painted each piece with the watercolors, everything is double layered. I used A walk in my Garden, Home Decor, and George, Cricut Carts. I used CTMH's Garden green and Crystal Blue inks on the background of the card, just sponged them on. The watercolor pencils were sunny yellow, sunflower, hydrangea, orange, dutch blue and olive, and just a tiny bit of Stickles Orange Marmalade on the body of the butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

its been a little while

Been a little under the weather this last week, but since I have been at home the last couple of days I decided I would try to get a scrapbooking done. The picture of the first set of pages is a little blurry sorry about that. We have 2 dogs, 1 is a german shepard and the other is a yorkie, Peanut who thinks he is as big as Major. So Peanut found himself a big ole black snake to play with last summer, I just had to take picturs. All papers are CTMH Expedtion paper pk and the letters and snakes are cut using my Cricut E.

These next two layouts use the CTMH Notebook paper pk, letters and butterfly are also cut with my Cricut. This is Jason in fiddle on the roof. The second pic is Jason and Elaine in NewYork.

The next 2 are using the papers from CTMH's Floral Tapestry paper pk. Meagan went to NY, The second page is Willie's gradution.

This page uses CTMH's Stardust paper pk, I was glad when my niece sent me this picture because I had been wanting to use this paper.

This is a card I made for MJ at work it was her bday last week. I used white daisy, moonstruck and ocean cardstock and my Cricut E the cart I used were animal planet for the cat and Home decor for the bird and branch.
I loaded these wrong so the inside of the card is showing up first and the outside is second (sorry)

Thanks for stopping by.

So I have been workin on cards the last few nites and have a few more I need to get done but I wanted to share what I have done so far this week. This 1st one is done with the You are Beautiful stamp set from CTMH and the papers are also CTMH, I used the gamsol coloring to color the flowers. Used Cuttlebug for the Petal cardstock and used my new fiskars punch for the striped paper.

This one is with a stamp from stampin up, I don't own it, this is one that I had stamped at EJ's and just now put to use, the dragonflies are from a punch I picked up at Michaels some time ago.
I used cranberry cardstock.

These ladies are the Gossip Girls that I just got from Art Impressions, these girls are a hoot. I really enjoyed coloring these, this first card is for a friend at work whose wife is turning 50 this month, I hope she likes it, I will be making her a another card to go with this, so he will have 2 for her. I used CTMH FLoral Tapestry paper pack and CTMH Watercoloring pencils and CTMH waterbrush for the coloring and twilight brads
This one I made for Ginger and her sisters, I made 3 of them, one for each of them, these ladies are a hoot, just like the gossip girls, they keep you laughing which is a very good thing.
I used paper from CTMH Floral Tapestry paper pack and CTMH Orchid Ink, ctmh blush brads, and gamsol and prismcoloring pencils.

I hope you like the new additions to my cards, I really enjoy making these cards.
Thanks for stopping by. I will be making some more this evening so I will post them later.

I have been workin on a few cards today, I decided to pull out my Unforgettable paper pack and see if I could get a few cards going. The first one uses the Aspiration stamp set, I stamped the flower 3 times and then pot dotted to the card. Sorbet and black inks.

This is a side view of the flower, I also cut the blooms so that it would have a little more demision.

This one is same paper pack, just a little different look, it also has a spiece of vanilla cream on the inside with tiny flowers stamped on the lower corner. Sorbet and black inks.

This is a get well made with unforgettable paper pk and Aspiration stamp set, Sorbet ink and chocolate inks.

This one is made using the Juniper and cocoa from the Unforegettable paper pk, I ran the cocoa though my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder, The flower is from the You are Beautiful stamp set. I stamped the flower with archival black ink, then using the Blender pen and Juniper ink to color it, ribbon is cocoa.

This one I used my Cricut to cut the white daisy, stamped the flowers 3 times in Juniper, then cut them out, but I used different pieces just to give them depth. White Daisy ribbon.

This one is done with Amethyst and Buttercup papers, I colored the flowers with the amethyst marker, flower stems are from the From me to you stamp set. White daisy brads. The flowers I picked up at michaels in the wedding section. Buttercup ribbon.

I hope you like the new cards. Thanks for stopping by.
