Merry Christmas

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all and have a wonderful and safe Holiday. These are just a couple of the dozens of pictures I took of the snow that fell on 12/19 and 12/20, by the time it was all done we got about 23, 24 inches, my birdbath was buried, I am going to scrapbook some of the pictures so I will post that later. It was beautiful to watch, but not so much fun to shovel.
This is the deepest snow we have had since 1996.

Just a little Hello

So I have been without the internet since saturday afternoon, something went wrong and I didn't get things right till this afternoon, a young man named Alvin at tech support at Embarq helped me to fix things.
This is the cardworkshop I am doing, it was suppose to have happened this past Saturday, but due to snow things got cancelled.
These cards are using the X5808 Creative Basics Jingle collection, X5753 Tulip cs, Z2166 Tulip ink, X5752 Juniper cs, Z2165 Juniper ink, D1366 Hoilday Trinkets, B1313 Merry Pursits, C1376 Stocking Stlye, C1378 Heartfelt Christmas, Z1151 Foam Tape, 1771 Waterbrush, and Tereas Black's glitter techinque, which is alot of fun and a little messy, and I used my Cricut to cut the snowflakes. I used Antoinnette's template for these. This is 20 cards, and very easy to put together.

I have been seeing alot of the homemade dry erase boards so I decided to give them a try, they came out okay so I decided to make some as gifts for Christmas, I hope the person's I made these for will like them. They are the 8x10 size. I got the frames from Walmart, all my letters were cut using my Cricut and the Alphalicious cart, I used several different paper paks for these.

it works again

I am so happy that everything seems to be working again on here so that I can share pictures and stuff.
Okay, don't forget that Stampaganza at Close to my Heart ends Nov 30, 09 you have till then to Buy 2 get 1 FREE of the My Acrylix stamp sets. Go to my web site www.Rebeccat.myctmh.com and check out all of the stamps sets, also on the site are all the items that will be retiring on December 31,09.
Calvin got me my Christmas present early this year, I GOT A Gyspy from Provo craft, and I have had some fun with this. I found how much fun it is to weld words and letters together, I am still learning.
This first card I did this past weekend, I was over SCS and saw the brick wall card tech. and thought I would give it a try.
I used X5646 Vanilla cream cs, X5642 Cocoa cs, Z2105 Black stamp pad, Z670 B;ack embossing powder, Vanilla cream ribbon, Z2118 Desert sand stamp pad and sponge for the edges of the brick

These were for NP week at the hospital, I used X7117B Grace paper pack, 1381 White daisy cs for the letters, cut the with the Cricut Expression. I used my new Gyspy to weld the letters and words together, I used the lyrica letters cart. Z1218 Basic Brads chocolate.

These were cookie tins that I covered to go with the cards, wanted to use up some of my papers so I chose the X7107B Thats Amore for these, letters were cut using the cricut cart Lyrical letters and X5643chocolate cs. I had a dragonfly punch, and mini pearls that I put on top of the cans.

This next thing is a treat bag that I made for a couple of people at the hospital, we have some really nice people who work the front door and that work in linen services, so I chose them to recieve the gift bags this time, It was using B1333 Merry Monsters and 44751 Black archival ink and my copics, (I only have a few of these).
Beware these are hunting pictures.
This last picture is of my husband Calvin and the deer he has gotton so far this year, he is a hunter and he doesn't hunt for sport but for meat to eat, gettin a nice Buck in, is really nice, he has not had much luck the last couple of yrs but for reason things are going his way this year,
on this scrapbook page are a 3pt, 2 8pts, and 1 9pt, if you click on the picture you can see the page better. Calvin likes my scrapbooking and because of that he has his own hunting and fishing scrapbooks that he likes to show people. I am very pleased that Calvin enjoys his hunting and fishing,

Comments are always welcome, have a wonderful day.

Sorry its been awhile

Sorry, it has been awhile I have been a little busy but I will now try do better about keepin up this blog. This first card is one that I made for Heather & Mike who got married yesterday and it was a wonderful wedding. I got the idea for this card from Cibele over at CTMH mine is a little more plain than hers. I used X7107B Thats Amore papers, X5640 Blush Cardstock, Z209 White Daisy Ribbon, and Flower Soft, Wishes 9033 pg 66 Three Tiers

So I have seen alot of the covered cookie trays that are being used to make little memo centers so I decided to try one, next one will come out better, but this one is not to bad, I used X7094B Paper Garden, Z817 Autumn Daisy paper flowers, and buttons from the winter collection Z1284 and my Cricut to cut the letters, they are from Lyical letters

next one has nothing to do with cards just a picture I took of a bunch of wild turkeys that were hangin out back for a little while.

these next cards I made using the Everyday card kit, these were for Boss's Day.

This last card is for Heathers Bridal shower, I decided to do the tier fold and used the X7114B Bella papers, since all the cards I had done for her brides maids were using this paper just wanted to use up the last of it, and one of the good things about the tier cards is that you can use scraps and they come out wonderful.
Thanks for stopping by and remeber comments are always welcome.
