Atlantic Hearts #13

Hi guys, it is time for another fun challenge at Atlantic Hearts. This one was fun. When I was trying to decide what to do for this sketch, I had a piece of baby pink cs, the CTMH artist cartridge laying on my desk and thought I am going to use these things with white daisy and see what I can come up with.  I wanted to use a button but didn't have one big enough that I liked so I used the button flower on page 46 of the artiste cart cut at 1 1/2",  I cut 3 of these buttons, used baby pink ink to sponge the edges then layered with foam tape when I put them together. I used CTMH's brand new scallop punch (available Aug 1) on the white daisy, then sponged the edges and sides of the white daisy.

Buzz and Bumble card.

Hi everyone just thought I would share a few things I made in the middle of the night, couldn't sleep so I decided to play in my craft room.  The first card is made using Buzz and Bumble paper pk. The sentiment is from the little strip that runs across the top of our papers, I used part of it on the front and put the rest on the inside of my card. I cut my little bee from the Create-a-Critter cricut cartridge and he is cut at 2 1/4". I used  glitz glitter gel on his wings. I used the Art Philosophy pg 33 cart to cut the layer for him to sit on.

This next card was just a quick and simple one using the Dream pop papers. I cut the front of my card from the banana cs and the found a part of the b&t sheet that I liked and placed that down, grabbed some sparkles from our pink and red collection and put them on, stamped happy birthday and was done, quick and simple.

This next little item is a badge that I made to take to the Close to my Heart convention that I will be going to. He was just a fun little guy to make, I did not have a pin to use on his back so I put velco on.  I use glitz glitter on his wings. Atlantic Hearts #8 and Father's day

            Welcome to week number 8 at Atlantic hearts, I hope you will join us for this new challenge.

I have been using up some scrap paper I have had laying around and some of it I have been cutting flowers from the Artiste cartridge, I found the cutest little daisy on page 54, I cut my flowers at 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and 2" and layered them with 3-d foam, I now have a bunch of daisys made up to use any time and I thought this orange colored one would be perfect for this weeks challenge, my leaves are cut from the same page, they are cut at 1". hope you like my card.

Atlantic Hearts #6

This is our cute sketch #6 by Michelle and it was fun to come up with something for it.

I have been taking little scraps of paper and before I throw them out I have been punching dragonflies and butterflies out of them, and wasn't sure what I was going to do with them, but when I saw this sketch I knew what I was going to do with some of the dragonflies, I hope you like my little dragonfly birthday card, it was so fun and easy to make.

I am having such a good time doing the different sketches for the Atlantic Hearts design team. The week I decided to use 2 different patterned papers on a card, I found this pack of my minds eye hootenanny paper pk at Michaels.  My cupcake is from the artiste cartridge page 69, it is cut at 3 1/4", I also ran the wrapper for my cupcake though the cripper. Dream Pop and Atlantic Hearts Sketch #2

This is the new sketch for the Atlantic hearts challenge #2 and I really enjoyed this one as I needed to make toppers for the nurses week treats I was putting together and so these are what I came up with using the sketch and the Dream pop papers from Close to my Heart. Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #1

CTMH Consultants Michelle & Darla have started a new sketch challenge blog, and Michelle created this fun sketch to get everyone started.  Since next week is nurses week and I have to make a few cards for the nurses I work with, I decided to make a card using the fun Dream Pop papers, ( I love the bright yummy colors in this pack), I also added some CTMH bling to it. My flowers are cut using the strawberry embossed cardstock, I cut them at 2 1/4", 2", 1 3/4" and place foam tape between the layers. This next card I made for Shaun using Pluto from Mickey and friends, this was the first card I made from this cartridge. I like how he came out.   Pluto is cut at 2.50" the grass is cut at 1/2" and 1", the clouds were cut at 1.25", I edged the clouds with whisper ink and stamped. I sponged the background of the card, I have a bunch of retired cardstock that I need to use up, so I used these colors on this card.

March 16th workshop

Hello everyone, we had our monthly workshop this past Saturday and had such a good time, Need to give Darla over at CTMH a big thank you for the idea for the Love Doily stamp set, I cased her cards but added a little something to ours to give them a little tiny bit of bling, on ours we rounded the corners and added a pearl opaques to the center of the doily and a bitty opaque to the body of the butterfly. We used the Love Always WOTG for our scrapbook pages, the ladies did four pages each, Angela's pages are cut down to 8 1/2 x 11 as this is the size scrapbooks she has,  everyone's pages came out great.   Our next workshop will be on April 20th, if you would like to join us just send me an email by April 8th.
