Sunday moring

So I just wanted to share a few pictures from my yard this morning, these sunflowers came up n there own this year, this is where my bird feeders hang most of the time, I move them back when the hummingbirds arrive, and put their feeders here, I wasn't ecpecting the sunflowes but they are so pretty right now, I didn't move my hummingbird feeders so in the second and third pictures that I took this morning you can see one coming in for a landing and in the third picture she is sitting to the right when another one comes in, I have more fun watching these guys carrying on.

Now for this next set of pictures it is interesting, I was sitting in the yard when I kept hearing something making a hitting sound, it took me a little bit to figure out where the sound was coming from, It was the bird feeder, this feeder has been here for awhile at one time something had pulled down one side of the metal tray trying to get at the seed, well I pushed that side back up, anyway I kept hearing this sound but didn't see anything, Finally I went over to the feeder and I am glad I had my camera in hand

This is what I found, I don't know how long she had been there but I removed the lid and she took off thankfully she had not hurt herself hitting the feeder trying to get out.

Sorry, I haven't posted in a little while, we had a death in the family and a few other things going on. But I was able to get a few cards done, the first is the first of the Father's Day cards I need to make. I used CTMH's Sarsaparilla Papers X7098B and the Hunting Stamp D1213. I colored it with Copic markers, on the inside a stamped a rifle from the same set.

The next is using the May SOTM Be Yourself, white daisy cardstock 1385, flower is from the Tickled pink set and done with Creme Brulee Z2167 and Sorbet Z2164, she is stamped in Black Ink Z2105. I used a button from the Winter collectionZ1284.

This one is using the papers from the Tickled Pink collection and my Cricut Wildcard cart. The tag is from the June SOTM Tender Tags D1350, and stamped with crystal blue ink Z2117

THis next one is using the Sarsaparilla Level 2 papers X7098B, The image I do not know the name of, I was playing with it at Ej's awhile back and forgot to write the name down, but I need a birthday card for Greg at work and this guy was perfect. He got a laugh out of it. I colored him with copic markers.

This one is made with Sunkiss Yellow cardstock 1240, White daisy cardstock 1385, June SOTM Tender Tags D1350, With Love D1284, Sunkiss yellow ink Z2151, Garden green ink Z2120, stickles, Flower soft in Lemon Yellow and Poppy red, I used WIMG Cricut cart to cut out the vase and sponged crystal blue ink on it

This one is made using cricut wildcard cart wedding cake, I embossed with my cuttlebug and added the little flowers, it doesn't show in the picture but I sprinkled Prisma glitterZ134 on the flowers.

this next picture has nothing to do with cards, this is a shot of the cake I took to work on monday mornig, it as gross as it sounds it is suppose to look like a cigarette because june 7th was my 1 yr anniversary of not smoking, and I am very pleased with myself. It was a bad habit that I had for a very long time and I don't miss it.

The last picture for the day is a little guy I found on my rose bush, this is the first time I have seen on of the little guys, so being the scrapbooker, I had to take a picture.

tryin to catch up

I have been tryin to catch up on some of my card making, this first card is all CTMH, I cut it out using Cricut Wildcard Cart then ran the pieces though the cuttlebug. The flowers are CTMH Just Blooms summer posies. I used liquid pearls in the center of the flowers.
this next one is using CTMH Happy Healing D1362, the colors aren't showing very well for some reason but I used sunkissed Yellow for the paper and coloring, also used graden green for the sentiment.

This next one is a baby shower card using the Cricut Wildcard cart. I used CTMH sunkissed yellow and heavenly blue cardstock

This is using Daisy and CTMH's Tickled pink collection. Sentiment is from the June SOTM.

THe next couple of cards are also using peices left over from the Tickled pink collection from CTMH. On the first one I colored the center of the flowers with Buttercup marker the used Liquid Glass to attach clear buttons.

One of the nurses left from the clinic so I made her this good luck card using CTMH Best Friends collection.

Wanted a sympathy card with nothing wriiten on the front so I did the sun set, I used CTMH inks, colors are garden green, barn red, sunny yellow, honey, black, used a sponge for this, I can't find my brayer.

I got the idea for this next card from Iona over on the CTMH boards, it looked like it would be fun to make, so while I was EJ's yesterday I used her fishes stamp.

This next one is from EJ's stamp collection also but I can't remember the name of it. I colored the Roses using Copic markers. I really enjoyed spending time with EJ,

Sorry it has been a little over a week since I posted, I do have a few new cards to share today, the first is made using the paper from the Tickled Pink special from CTMH. (ask me how to get this for FREE during the month of May or slip over to my web site for details on this wonderful Kit.
Inks used are Blush, Holyhock and Crystal Blue.

This next one uses the papers from Tickled Pink and the Wildcard Cart from Cricut, I used Liquid Pearls to make the spinkles on the cupcake.

Next we have the card I made for my mom for mothers day, papers are all CTMH and I used the Walk in my Garden cart from Cricut. Papers are White Daisy, Hoilday Red, and Clover Meadow, I also used my cuttlebug for embossing the WD and the Blush cardstock.

This is the design I learned at the Handcraft House on how to Iris Fold, I made this card for my MIL. White Daisy and Cranberry Cardstock and the flowered paper I got from the HH.

This next ne is a simple sympathy card, I used the cuttlebug to emboss the paper twice first with the dots and then ran it again with the flowers, it is a pretty card. I can't remember where I saw the idea to run the cs twice.

Happy Sunday

So yesterday I went to the Handcraft House which is almost 30 min away and while I was there I got to make some great cards with Beki, Sue, Barbara and Lori, and I had a great time, we used the copic markers and did one card with Iris fold,, this was the first time I had amde one with the iris fold it was fun, learning the right way to color with copics was cool. I only have a few of these.
They had received a shipment of Flower Soft in and that was the first thing I looked for when I got there and I am glad I did as by the time I was ready to leave a couple of the colors were gone. I picked up the sweet pea, heather and delphinium. I had to finnsh up some card orders first thing this morning before I could play with the new stuff.
I have been over to spiltcoaststampers lookin around and I have seen some wonderful flower pot cards and some of my fellow CTMH consultants have made some very nice ones, so I decided today to give it a try, I hope you like how mine turned out.

You can't tell to much but the pot is sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, to try to make it look a little weathered. This was a joy to make, think I am going to make some for the birthdays I have at work this month.
