got a few cards done today

This first card is from D1362 Happy Healing My Acrylix stamp set. X5681 Sunkiss yellow textured cs, Z2119 Dutch Blue ink. ran the textured cs though the cuttlebug. Used my prisma coloring pencils, Pc927, Pc1001, Pc1034, Pc941, Pc904, Pc 1054, Pc 1050, Pc 903, Pc 997, Pc 942, Pc917.

In 2007 CTMH had a paper pack called X7076B Sonata (retired now) so I found this set and had used most of the papers for scrapbooking, I had a scrap or two left so I made a birthday card out of it last week, well someone took a liking to the card and ask me to make them a set. When I went looking for more of this in my stash I couldn't find any of the B&T that I needed so I pulled out the D1189 Floral Delights My Acrylix stamp set that went with this paper, did some random stamping and made my own B&T. This looks close to the original but it is missing the yellow flowers and the design is different, for those of you who have the original I hope you like my take on it.
D1309 Heartthrob, Z2311 Chocolate marker, Z2328 Hollyhock marker, Z2163 White Daisy ink, Z2133 Lilac Mist ink, I used my heat tool to get the white daisy ink dry a little faster.

These are the cards I make using the B&T paper. I cannot remeber who did this card originally so long ago but I changed it up some, the original didn't have butterflies. D1186 Rustic Flowers My Acrylix stamp set. Z2110 Buttercup ink, Z2133 Lilac Mist ink, Z658 Buttercup Embossing powder, 1271 Buttercup Cs, 1295Lilac Mist CS, Z1300 White daisy paper flower pk. Z1212 Spring Harmony asst. yellow brads, Z726 sponge dauber, rhinestones are from Recollections and MS butterfly punch.

This card is using C1395 Enjoy Every Moment My Acrylix stamp set. The morning glories are colored using my Copic markers. 5596 Pansy Purple Cs, 1245 Olive Cs, cuttlebug. Copics used BV00, BV31, BV13, YG95

Todays Cards

These are some cards that I have done today, I really like this C1395 Enjoy Every Moment My Acrylix stamp set, it has 3 bunches of flowers Calla lillies, Morning Glories and Daisies and I stamped some of the Calla Lilies and then pulled out my Prisma Coloring pencils with the Gamsol and had fun, After I had colored all the flowers than I needed to find papers to go with them, in this first picture Z2139 Orchid Bouquet ink (retired), I had no paper to match the flowers so I used white daisy cs and PC934 Lavender Pencil and made my own matching paper. I also used PC911 Olive Green pencil to color all of the leaves.
PC1002 Yellowed orange pencil, PC929 Pink, Z2150 Sunflower Ink, 1242 Sunflower Cs. PC916 Canary Yellow pencil, X5682 Sunkiss Yellow Textured cs, White Daisy textured CS, Z2120 Garden green ink.Z1217 Metal Brad assortment. Each card has different texture to it, one is textured cs, the sunflower was ran though the cuttlebug with the swiss dots and the lavender was colored with pencils the smoothed out with the gamsol.

This one uses the Varanda Paper pk. level 2 PC927 light peach, PC1001 Salmon pink pencils. Z1269 Filigree Charms.

This next set I made for Pat, D1283 Say it in Style my Acrylix stamp set, X5752 Juniper cs, Z2165 Juniper ink, juniper ribbon, tiny pearls are from Recollections and I used the MS punch.
I am not sure why it looks a little blurry. Sorry.

These next two use 1248 Vineyard Berry cs, Vineyard berry ribbon, Z2157 Vineyard berry ink, the MS punch for the butterflies, and the little rhinestones are from Recollections

I also embossed these with the cuttlebug.

This one uses PC1003 Spanish Orange, PC937 Tuscan Red pencils, 1248 Vineyard berry cs, 1242 Sunflower cs, vineyard berry ribbon, D1283 Say it with Style

This last one I used PC937 Tuscan Red, PC911 Olive green pencils, I used 1248 Vineyard berry cs and it ran though the cuttlebug.

I have really enjoyed using my Prisma coloring pencils and Gamsol today. I hope you like the cards I have made today.

It has been a little while since I have been here, but since I am no longer working Saturdays, I will try to be better at posting. The first 2 cards I have are using CTMH's April stamp of the month, I really like these little flowers and flower pots. The flowers are stamped in Z2120 garden green, then I stamped them again on scrap paper in Z2166 Tulip and cut them out, the flower pots were stamped and the colored with my Copic markers then cut out and pop dotted on using Z1151 foam tape. I used Z2119 Dutch Blue Ink for the thanks and Z2138 Orange for the Happy Birthday. My Acrylix Stamp sets used D1409 Flower pot April SOTM and D1283 Say it in Style. Copic markers used are B24, B32, and YR16, YR68

This one uses D1409 Flower pot also, did some masking on it, used 5590 Purple Pansy and X5667 petal cardstock, Z2161 Petal ink and copic markers for coloring, copics used YG95, BV13, BV31, YR24. The little flowers in the lower right corner were cut out and popdotted on. used foam tape and ran pansy purple cs though the cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder.

The little dress is a baby shower card that I made, I used 1299 Baby Pink and 1381 White Daisy for the dress, I ran the white though the cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder, the pink flowers are from Prima, Z1284 Winter craft buttons blush, Z1219 Essential collection Brads and the white ribbon is just some that I had layin around so I am not sure where it is from. I have a template that I got off line for the dress.

This next card is one that I made at EJ's the other week it is really cute, I dont know the names of all of the items used. I need to get a list from her.

I got a new phone so I just wanted to show it, the reason I got it is because the old one wasn't takin good pictures and since I don't talk alot on it I did want something that could take good pictures and this one does. It also does good video which is fun, I can also see the clock on this without my glasses which is nice sometimes.

This is just a few samples of what can be done with X5747 Basic Textured CS, I made this for someone, just a couple of ideas.
used the black/grey textured and White Daisy. That is one of the good things about CTMH's textured cs is that it is dark on side and light on the other.

This is the card that I made with the samples when I was done. Also using the April SOTM.

new cards

It has been a little bit since I have been here sorry, I have a few new cards to show this evening. these first 5 were done with one random stamped sheet of 1381 White Daisy cs, I used My Acrylix stamp set D1186 Rustic Flower, Z1283 Autumn buttons, Z1094 Embroidery Floss, Z1052 Ric Rac Ribbon, 1275 Outdoor Denim cs, Z2140 Outdoor Denim exclusive ink, X5639 Sweet leaf cs, Z2153 Sweet leaf ink, Z1215 Outdoor denim brad from the autumn collection, D1283 Say it in Style stamp set, and wild cards Cricut cart for the happy birthday.

This one was done using D1186 Rustic Flower, the hummingbird is from C1389 So Sweet my Acrylix stamp set, 1381 White daisy cs, I stamped the flowers onto the card and then stamped them on an extra sheet of cs and cut them out, after stamping on the card base I cut around the flowers and then pop dotted the cut out flowers on top of the other cut flowers, I used outdoor denim buttons for the center of the flowers, I sponged Z2153 Sweet Leaf ink onto the bottom of the card. I used coloring pencils for the bird.

this is a picture of the card opened so you can see how the flowers were cut on the base.

This one I made for someone who had twins and got a boy and a girl, I saw this design somewhere and it was done with just stamping so I decided to do it with my new Cricut cart New Arrival and I think it turned out okay. The ducks were cut a 1/4 and I put Z1217 Metal bitty brads on it make it look like little hooks. I used 1285 Heavenly blue cs, 1299 Baby Pink cs, 1240 Sunkiss yellow cs, Z2140 Outdoor demin ink, and some yellow ribbon I had hangin around.
this one was fun to make.

These next 2 I made for MJ who is retiring at the end of this week, this design is from the Felicity collection, I changed mine just a bit as there are no buttons and no ribbon.

And I finnished my Christmas page for Hunter's album, I just have to put the journeling on it now.

new things

Hello, I just love the New Spring Idea book, one of sure to be a favorite is the new X7119B Veranda paper pack. On page 8 of the idea book is a card that I really liked and I needed a special thank you card for someone, the card I made is almost the same as the book except I made a few minor changes, not much. I used C1389 So Sweet stamp set which is another favorite, 1771 Waterbrush, Z2769 Creme Brulee ink, Z2164 Sorbet ink, Z2165 Juniper ink, Z2120 Garden Green ink, Z1131 Creme Brulee ribbon rounds. I made 2 of these cards each just a little different, the top one has little chocolate pearls and the second has white ones. and the ribbons are a little different.

I decided to get some scrapbooking done, I want to get caught up on my scrapbooking so I started with Hunter's book. I used the X7112B Animal Cookies paper pack. This is cute and fun papers. I used my cricut and Alphalicious cart for the letters. I decided to wait and put my journaling on later after I posted pictures. I still want to add a little more to the pages but I will later.
