On friday, I was looking out my back window and this is what I saw, not one but 6 buck deer, from 9pts down to a spike. I had been waiting for some good pictures to use my Back Country papers with and this worked out perfect. My husband is a hunter so he really liked these. I took a total of about 60 pictures but only scraped what I thought were the best ones. If you click on the image you will see it larger. All product is CTMH.
9030 Imagine book pg 50 conclusion combo, X7110B Back Country level 2 paper pk, D1353 Campin fever, Z2118 Desert sand ink, D1378 Notice the Details, Z1040 Antique cooper brads, Z2311 Chocolate marker. Z1283 Autumn buttons. Cricut Lyrical letters, cuttlebug embossing folder.

Now this next page is interesting because Calvin was doing some clearing here and moved an old bedliner and under it was a 4 1/2 foot black snake, now she wasn't to happy about being found, I got the camera and took a few pictures, while I had the in the edit mode I thought I would zoom in on the snakes face and what I saw in her eye surpised me because it was my reflection, she was looking right at me, I thought this was cool so I printed and scraped it. All product is CTMH.

new cards

These are just a few new cards, the first 2 are using the Cricut carts Lyrical letters and Wildcard. The papers are CTMH 1381 White Daisy, 1299 Baby Pink, 1285 Heavenly Blue and 5571 GreyWool, Stamp set used is C1037 The Best way, the little shaped buttons I picked up at Michaels some time ago. The bears were colored using 3505 watercolor pencils and gamsol. the bears were stamped with Z1142 Brown staz on ink

I have a friend at work who really like Maxine so for her birthday I found a Maxine that I liked, printed and cut her out twice, I then used some foam tape to give her some dimision. The cardstock was the fun part, a couple of the CTMH consultants (Susan and Brandie) found a way to make glimmer mist using Z1039 Create-a-shade paint and some water in a small spray bottle. use 3/8 paint and about 1/2 water place in bottle and shake. I did this than sprayed my X5667 Petal Cardstock, it gave my card a nice shiny background. it looks better in person.

these cards use Wishes Timeless Trio pg 45 X7114B Bella level 2 and C1317 Paw prints, made these for someone who likes cats. and asked for a few note cards.

And this last picture is of our dog Major who found himself a groundhog hole he decided he wanted to dig it out, thankful he didn't find the groundhog.

Inks used are Blush, Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf, Buttercup, Button is from Winter Cozy collection.

Yesterday, I went to Culpeper to a place called Stamp-N-Scrap to see a friend I know by the name of Beki, she does alot of teaching, I just wanted to check the place out, while I was there Beki was showing a few ladies how to make the Tri Shutter card, now I haven't done this so I watched for a few min, and listened to what she told the ladies about scroing at 2 and 4 and then cut at 1 1/2, now I was hoping I would remember this later, well I did, so Beki here is my first Tri Shutter card made using Tickled Pink scraps, (sorry it is a little blurry)

Sunday moring

So I just wanted to share a few pictures from my yard this morning, these sunflowers came up n there own this year, this is where my bird feeders hang most of the time, I move them back when the hummingbirds arrive, and put their feeders here, I wasn't ecpecting the sunflowes but they are so pretty right now, I didn't move my hummingbird feeders so in the second and third pictures that I took this morning you can see one coming in for a landing and in the third picture she is sitting to the right when another one comes in, I have more fun watching these guys carrying on.

Now for this next set of pictures it is interesting, I was sitting in the yard when I kept hearing something making a hitting sound, it took me a little bit to figure out where the sound was coming from, It was the bird feeder, this feeder has been here for awhile at one time something had pulled down one side of the metal tray trying to get at the seed, well I pushed that side back up, anyway I kept hearing this sound but didn't see anything, Finally I went over to the feeder and I am glad I had my camera in hand

This is what I found, I don't know how long she had been there but I removed the lid and she took off thankfully she had not hurt herself hitting the feeder trying to get out.

Sorry, I haven't posted in a little while, we had a death in the family and a few other things going on. But I was able to get a few cards done, the first is the first of the Father's Day cards I need to make. I used CTMH's Sarsaparilla Papers X7098B and the Hunting Stamp D1213. I colored it with Copic markers, on the inside a stamped a rifle from the same set.

The next is using the May SOTM Be Yourself, white daisy cardstock 1385, flower is from the Tickled pink set and done with Creme Brulee Z2167 and Sorbet Z2164, she is stamped in Black Ink Z2105. I used a button from the Winter collectionZ1284.

This one is using the papers from the Tickled Pink collection and my Cricut Wildcard cart. The tag is from the June SOTM Tender Tags D1350, and stamped with crystal blue ink Z2117

THis next one is using the Sarsaparilla Level 2 papers X7098B, The image I do not know the name of, I was playing with it at Ej's awhile back and forgot to write the name down, but I need a birthday card for Greg at work and this guy was perfect. He got a laugh out of it. I colored him with copic markers.

This one is made with Sunkiss Yellow cardstock 1240, White daisy cardstock 1385, June SOTM Tender Tags D1350, With Love D1284, Sunkiss yellow ink Z2151, Garden green ink Z2120, stickles, Flower soft in Lemon Yellow and Poppy red, I used WIMG Cricut cart to cut out the vase and sponged crystal blue ink on it

This one is made using cricut wildcard cart wedding cake, I embossed with my cuttlebug and added the little flowers, it doesn't show in the picture but I sprinkled Prisma glitterZ134 on the flowers.

this next picture has nothing to do with cards, this is a shot of the cake I took to work on monday mornig, it as gross as it sounds it is suppose to look like a cigarette because june 7th was my 1 yr anniversary of not smoking, and I am very pleased with myself. It was a bad habit that I had for a very long time and I don't miss it.

The last picture for the day is a little guy I found on my rose bush, this is the first time I have seen on of the little guys, so being the scrapbooker, I had to take a picture.
