So I have been workin on cards the last few nites and have a few more I need to get done but I wanted to share what I have done so far this week. This 1st one is done with the You are Beautiful stamp set from CTMH and the papers are also CTMH, I used the gamsol coloring to color the flowers. Used Cuttlebug for the Petal cardstock and used my new fiskars punch for the striped paper.

This one is with a stamp from stampin up, I don't own it, this is one that I had stamped at EJ's and just now put to use, the dragonflies are from a punch I picked up at Michaels some time ago.
I used cranberry cardstock.

These ladies are the Gossip Girls that I just got from Art Impressions, these girls are a hoot. I really enjoyed coloring these, this first card is for a friend at work whose wife is turning 50 this month, I hope she likes it, I will be making her a another card to go with this, so he will have 2 for her. I used CTMH FLoral Tapestry paper pack and CTMH Watercoloring pencils and CTMH waterbrush for the coloring and twilight brads
This one I made for Ginger and her sisters, I made 3 of them, one for each of them, these ladies are a hoot, just like the gossip girls, they keep you laughing which is a very good thing.
I used paper from CTMH Floral Tapestry paper pack and CTMH Orchid Ink, ctmh blush brads, and gamsol and prismcoloring pencils.

I hope you like the new additions to my cards, I really enjoy making these cards.
Thanks for stopping by. I will be making some more this evening so I will post them later.

I have been workin on a few cards today, I decided to pull out my Unforgettable paper pack and see if I could get a few cards going. The first one uses the Aspiration stamp set, I stamped the flower 3 times and then pot dotted to the card. Sorbet and black inks.

This is a side view of the flower, I also cut the blooms so that it would have a little more demision.

This one is same paper pack, just a little different look, it also has a spiece of vanilla cream on the inside with tiny flowers stamped on the lower corner. Sorbet and black inks.

This is a get well made with unforgettable paper pk and Aspiration stamp set, Sorbet ink and chocolate inks.

This one is made using the Juniper and cocoa from the Unforegettable paper pk, I ran the cocoa though my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder, The flower is from the You are Beautiful stamp set. I stamped the flower with archival black ink, then using the Blender pen and Juniper ink to color it, ribbon is cocoa.

This one I used my Cricut to cut the white daisy, stamped the flowers 3 times in Juniper, then cut them out, but I used different pieces just to give them depth. White Daisy ribbon.

This one is done with Amethyst and Buttercup papers, I colored the flowers with the amethyst marker, flower stems are from the From me to you stamp set. White daisy brads. The flowers I picked up at michaels in the wedding section. Buttercup ribbon.

I hope you like the new cards. Thanks for stopping by.

I finished scrapbooking Calvin's hunting pictures, still have to catch up the rest of my scrapbooking, I have spent part of yesterday and this morning tryin to come up some samples of wedding invites for someone, finally got them done and email her pictures, I hope she likes them, but I will wait and see. I picked up some Gamsol yesterday to use for when coloring with coloring pencils, it is some cool stuff, I had not used it before and it another one of those neat little tricks I learned from EJ. It is an odorless mineral sprit. So I will have to post some cards that I use it on.

I have gotton some cards done, The first is a birthday card for Calvin's boss, it is all CTMH products.

Products used were Sarsparilla paper pack, twill ribbon stamped with bobwire from My Farm My Acylix stamp set the chicken is also from this set.

This next card I made for Ginger E, just thought she needed a little smile the other day. Used Sunny Yellow paper pk and the stamp is from stampin up, it is one that I played with at EJ's and just stamped a few on white cardstock and bought them home, I sponged around the edges .

This last card I made for one of the nurses that I work with, she made employee of the month.
I used all CTMH products for this one, the paper is Petal and Kiwi, the buttons are from the spring collection. The little black dragonfly is a little punch I picked up somewhere, and I used my Cricut and Cuttlebug, i put 3 small sliver rhinestones on the dragonfly.

Thanks for looking.

So I am waiting for the Daytona 500, it is my favorite race of the year, it gets everybody going.
So while waiting I have been playin with butterfly stamps to see which would work best for the embossing and coloring, I finally found one that I like best and worked really good, it is the butterfly from Close to my Heart's stamp of the month for March. So here is the card I came up with.

The items used are all Close to my heart except the little bonbons that EJ gave me. They go very well with the Creme Brulee.
Creme Brulee CS
Sorbet exclusive ink
CTMH embossing powder White Daisy
CTMH Markers Honey, Orange, Sunny Yellow
CTMH Creme brulee ribbon rounds.
The sentiment is from the Ms. Gardener stamp set
I am now ready for the race to come on.

EJ's card workshop

So went to EJ's this afternoon for her card workshop and we made 5 cards and a really cute little box, I don't have a picture of my 5th card here because I am not done with it yet, I will post it later. I really enjoy going to EJ's for one thing she has lots of cool stuff and if there is something that you want to try but are afraid to buy, if she has it she will let you try it, and she has stamps galore, from all different kinds of companies, which is really cool, but most of all I like going because EJ is a cool lady and when you go to her house you can relax, talk and make new friends.
EJ if you read this Thank you and I will see you soon. So we learned new things today for these cards, I got to learn about a couple of new products.

But most of all after having a really stressed week I got to have a good relaxing time. I think the 2 cards in the bottom picture were my favs.
