So I am waiting for the Daytona 500, it is my favorite race of the year, it gets everybody going.
So while waiting I have been playin with butterfly stamps to see which would work best for the embossing and coloring, I finally found one that I like best and worked really good, it is the butterfly from Close to my Heart's stamp of the month for March. So here is the card I came up with.




The items used are all Close to my heart except the little bonbons that EJ gave me. They go very well with the Creme Brulee.

EJ's card workshop

So went to EJ's this afternoon for her card workshop and we made 5 cards and a really cute little box, I don't have a picture of my 5th card here because I am not done with it yet, I will post it later. I really enjoy going to EJ's for one thing she has lots of cool stuff and if there is something that you want to try but are afraid to buy, if she has it she will let you try it, and she has stamps galore, from all different kinds of companies, which is really cool, but most of all I like going because EJ is a cool lady and when you go to her house you can relax, talk and make new friends.
EJ if you read this Thank you and I will see you soon. So we learned new things today for these cards, I got to learn about a couple of new products.

But most of all after having a really stressed week I got to have a good relaxing time. I think the 2 cards in the bottom picture were my favs.

Sketch Challenge

So I decided to try one of the sketch challenge from over at PCP and this is the card I did for it.

All CTMH products are used, the ribbon was white but I used creme brulee ink to give it color.

The stamp set is Ms. Gardener. hope you like.

todays cards

These are cards I have been working on today the first one I got the idea from one of the CTMH ladies but I forgot to jot her name down, she did one in bright colors, I wanted the chocolate and hollyhock colors for valentines day, the are puzzle pieces that I colored with CTMH markers. I like the way it turned out. The writing says LOVE YOU TO PIECES.

This one uses the Heartthrob D1309 My Acrylix stamp set, hollyhock and chocolate papers and hollyhock inks. MS punch for the border.



and this one the idea came from SCS idea board, I didn't write down the name of this one because there were so many different versions of it, but here is mine. Used all CTMH papers.
Stamp sets are D1245 In my Heart, D1194 All my love chocolate ribbon, the only thing not CTMH is the little pink hearts in the corners. I used my cricut for the envelope and some of the hearts the rest were stamped and cut out and pop dotted on the card.

these are a couple of cards I did recently, the first one was a thank you card for Beverly, she let me take her metallic pencils home to play with so I made the card for her, The stamp set is CTMH's Ms. Gardener D1344, I have more fun with this set.


Another great set to use is D1336 Cupcake sprinkles, I have made several birthday cards with this one. The design on these cards is from the current Idea Book. I used brads for the sprinkles on the first one and Liquid applique and glitter on the second one for icing.

been a while

Its been awhile since I have written, I need to start blogging more.
Its been a little cold here lately and I have been working on getting a few things done.

I recvied some of my new products from CTMH and I have been working on making cards and scrapping. I really like the Ms on the Go C1347 my Acrylix stamp set. Here are a couple of cards I have done with her. The first is a thank you card, I pieced her clothes and bags together from the KTMH paper pk. The second one I wanted something different for a Valentine so she is dressed in Uva colors and I cut and colored the football for her to hold. The inside of the card says "wanna huddle"

The next set I am workin on is birthday cards with the Cupcake Sprinkles D1336 My Acrylix stamp set. I will add them later.
